Arte Público Press of the University of Houston

Arte Publico Press is the largest and most estabilished publisher of contemporary and recovered literature by US Hispanic authors.  It's imprint for children and young adults, Piñata Books, is delicated to the authentic portrayal of Hispanic Culture, with the books serving as a bridge from school at home.  The RFecovering the US Hispanic Literary Heritage Project recues from perishing and publishes in a variety of formats Latino literature published in what has become the US from colonial times to 1960.
