Los Angeles, CA – August 2017 – Azteca America delivered some of the best rating results in the network’s history in July, achieving the network’s highest July prime time delivery since 2012. Azteca was the fastest-growing Spanish-language broadcast network in July among key demos, including total viewers (+27%), adults 18-49 (+14%), and adults 25-54 (+7%), according to Nielsen. This was Azteca’s second consecutive month of year-over-year growth in prime time among these demos.

Prime time programs delivered double and triple digit growth for the network, including +300% among adults 18-49 for its 7 PM game show, Escape Perfecto. Azteca’s new 10 PM Crime and Investigation programming block also showed strength, growing 69% year-over-year for the hour. Beyond prime time, Azteca is showing growth in other key time periods among adults 18-49 – in Daytime (+122%) and Weekend Late Fringe (+55%) Azteca was the fastest-growing Spanish broadcaster. Viewers in Early Fringe (+13%), Weekend Daytime (+19%) and Total Day (+7) also grew in July.

Locally, KAZA in Los Angeles and KPDF in Phoenix were the fastest growing Spanish-language broadcaster in their markets, up 12% and 45% respectively, among adults 18-49, while Houston delivered 51% growth in the same demo.
